The changing credit solutions landscape in sub-Saharan Africa will impact the credit insurance options for businesses with an African footprint.

CGIC has now concluded agreements with fronting partners in a number of countries and as such they are able to offer policies issued in-country, but administered and underwritten by CGIC. The countries impacted by this include Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mozambique and Mauritius.

Whilst some of these countries do offer insurance, it is always good to have an alternative. CGIC have a proven track record in underwriting in Africa and all administration will be handled by CGIC (offices based in Johannesburg) and via their online platform.
